MID ISLAND SCHUTZHUND CLUB
OUR MISSION
As a club we train extensively aiming for our dogs and handlers to compete at their highest levels possible. The foundation work (obedience) in training is the key to success. Basic components coupled with developed prey drive form the foundation on which we build.
Ensuring a strong foundation means achieving success in all 3 phases -- tracking, obedience and protection. We rely on the help of fellow members as spotters to progress our training. It's a team effort throughout. We regularly host and attend training seminars with top trainers/handlers to continue our learning.
Mid Island Schutzhund Club (MISC) is a non-profit all breed club training all levels of dogs in the sport of Schutzhund. We train on Saturdays and Sundays all year round in ALL types of weather.

Mid Island Schutzhund Club MISC is a member of the United States Schutzhund Club of America. Our club members are dedicated to promoting and preserving the true working temperament and character of the working breeds. All working breeds of sound temperament with necessary drives are welcome to participate
